All Systems Go for the 2022 SHOT Show

This will be our final SHOT Show Insider newsletter before the show, because starting next week we’ll be welcoming you all — the most exhibitors we’ve ever had in SHOT Show history — to Las Vegas! With more than 2,400 exhibitors, our expansion to the new Caesars Forum, attendance numbers climbing by more than 1,000 every day since the new year, and getting back to SHOT business after two years, to say we’re excited would be an understatement. Right now, I’d put the Las Vegas over-under at 43,000 for attendance. I’ll be betting on the over. We can’t wait to see you all very soon. — Chris Dolnack, NSSF

CES in Full Swing This Week in Las Vegas

Exhibitors and attendees from around the world are in Las Vegas this week for CES, usually the largest trade show in the city. I was in attendance there this week and was very impressed with what I saw. While the media and naysayers talk about doom and gloom — and the demise of CES — from afar, on site it’s a different story. Business is happening, new products are being launched, thousands are filling the aisles, and those in attendance are being rewarded for their attendance. Also, the amount of international pavilions was fantastic to see. The photos above are from Day 2 at CES in Level 1 of The Venetian Expo. — Jeff Pressman, ConvExx

Time to Renew your Booth for the 2023 SHOT Show

Booth renewal emails were sent to all SHOT Show exhibitors this week to renew your booth for the 2023 SHOT Show. If you are in SHOT Show eXtra or Supplier Showcase, you will receive an email in the coming days. SHOT Show exhibitors are required to renew their 2022 booth for the 2023 show to guarantee participation in the 2023 show. Booth change requests can be noted on your rental agreement and will be addressed later in the spring. For now, we ask that you simply renew your existing exhibit space. If you have any questions, please contact exhibitorhelp@shotshow.org. — Mike Clark, ConvExx
